1.For those that have never heard of you before, can you tell us a little bit about the band?

BWT was formed around 1995, as side project of our main group Stuck On Ceiling. It supposed to be band we having after hours of our serious one. Swapping instruments we got quite new band. We started to do it just for fun, however after sometime Bomba started to have more songs and actual concept of it.

2.Recently your 1998 demo was released as a full album, can you tell us a little bit more about the musical style that you went for on this recording?

We never considered this record as demo, it that time the only possibility to release album was to put it on cassette, at least for us. So actually that was first release of that album. Our music went from experience we already had, StuckOnCeling played complex mixture of noise metal hard core. We wanted Bomba to be simpler and more song oriented but also we wanted to move it closer to grind core than noise. On other approach there were also interest to keep music various, so we did tracks which are a little different from each other.

3.All of the music was originally recorded in 1998, what was the decision behind releasing the music nationwide instead of writing another full length?

Main reason was that we stop to play around 2000, and we did nothing up to 2017, no single bang.
It was few questions from some labels about reissuing of Anarchia 666. So we decided to remaster it and put it out. This album has returned to us in various situations, it got some great feedback, even after so long time, so remastering and reminding it made perfect sense. We reunioned as trio of Jondro Perkoz, Partner Sowy and Rurokura, so we had to find guitar player fitting our personal and musical criteria. And we did now new member of Bomba is Sony Bumm. The other reason was that with 2018 Anarchia 666 got 20 years old.

4.The band split up 18 years ago, can you tell us the decision behind disbanding?

It happened mostly because personal situation for most of us changed a lot and we could not really continue the band. Very late years of previous Bomba keep us occupied in other musical activities, as musicians we were in deep transformation so BWT lost a bit of our attention. SOC already played very experimental material and me started to play a lot with other musician on improvised and noise scene. Disbanding happened with no special decision or date.

5.Can you tell us a little bit more about the lyrical topics and subjects the band explores with the music?

I mentioned that Bomba has some concept behind, so it is mostly related to its lyrics. Most of them are connected with Doktor Jelito, who is some kind of demiurge, prophet or leader who defines our political and social manifestos as well as poetry. Most of lyrics are ridiculous, ironic or quizzical. Some of them tell short story, some says about certain hero like Czarny Anarchista (Black Anarchist) or Cyborg. General proposal of Doctor is to cleanse world from mankind as they causing a lot of wrong and disgrace, that is the final punch line. However nothing sounds so literal and colloquial. Meaning is a core, but form makes it essential.

6.What is the meaning and inspiration behind the name "Bomba w Torcie'?

Bomb in the birthday cake. That is our first songs we ever made. Lyrics is about how members of BWT were organizing birthday party for millionaires kids. BWT buys birthday cake in anarchist bakery, and there is bomb in the cake. It is funny in its macabre output, war between anarchy and capitalism is a little subversive here.

7.Can you tell us a little bit more about the artwork that is presented on the album cover?

That picture is taken from very old work of Poma de Ayala “El primer nueva corónica y buen gobierno” which is generally history written by de Ayala about Spanish colonization in Peru. Front cover show spanish conquistadors torturing Inca person. Hammer and machete is also taken from this chronicle. This book was made for king of Spain, but it never reached his eyes. Photos are done by Anna Zaradny – who is also musician and visual artist, she was member of late line up of StuckOnCeiling – during funeral of her uncle. I guess he was polish but I am pretty sure he has something to do with spanish conquistadors.

8.What where some of the best shows that the band had played in the past and also how would you describe your stage performance?

I think our best shows happened in Katowice and Szczecin, especially last show - before our long break - which took place there was very special. Our performance is not very different from you can expect going to see hard core metal band, we do not have disguises nor make up, no props, videos, just us making air vibrate. To be honest we do not know how it looks. I forgot to add we have no dancers on stage, but we wish to employ small crowd. Nobody ever like when we play so most probably we should pay audience to be more touched.

9.On a worldwide level how has the reaction been to your music by fans of grindcore?

This is a mystery to us, we had not too much feedback on worldwide level, there was some great opinions but really few. It changed a little now with reissue release, we got some good opinions. Social media also influenced Bomba to spread at some point. It has to be said that our present record label Selfmade God is great to make our music more recognized.

10.Are there any plans for any newer music in the future?

We planed reissue with reunion together to continue Bomba as existing and creative band. Last year we come back to rehearsals but also to write new music, Most of material for new album is already done, we need to finish few pieces and work on final shape and brilliancy of performance. Would be great to record some demo sessions this winter and do proper album recording in 2019.

11.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?

It is not easy to say, I am not sure if any bands has any influence on us now. In 90' when Bomba started we already had rich experience which grown from hard core, trash metal and grind towards noise rock, jazz or electronic music. We loved and still do icons as The Accused, Rorschach, early Corrosion of Conformity, Obituary, Brutal Truth etc but in Bomba days this we were not influenced by specific band or bands, rather overall experience of playing and listening to music did BWT style.
Nowadays... impossible to speak plural, we listen to various music, as musician and composer I am on very different aesthetic since years. So I listen to some music relating to BWT but also to wide palette of contemporary experimental music.

12.What are some of your non musical interests?

I think reunion was inspired by non musical interests. World as perfect example of realization of hell concept is pretty inspiring. Starting from family to killing millions in gas chambers. It is common to say that single person is good, but politicians, government, institution etc are wrong and evil. Most of human needs causing suffering and destruction. There is almost nothing good in existence, culture and arts is good - if we are not talking about production of things to sell, but experience which is actually something which makes the only difference. We are also interested in modern tendencies of theories from various areas, so says Doctor we need to keep our eyes open to not stay behind future. Our project of stopping mankind spread can't turn into archaic banal.

13.Before we wrap up this interview, do you have any final words or thoughts?

Thank you for your questions.

Forcefed Horsehead are a band from Norway that plays a mixture of death metal, grindcore and punk with some elements of black metal, hardcore, prog and post rock and this is a review of their self titled 2018 ep which was released by Negative Vibe Records.

Drums start off the ep before going into more of a heavier and dissonant direction while the faster sections of the songs also bring in a great amount of crust and grindcore elements along with the vocals being mostly hardcore style shouts as well as some black metal screams also being used at times.

Blast beats can also be heard quite a bit during the faster sections of the music while the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with the music also being very heavily influenced by death metal as well as a few growls, melody can also be heard in some of the riffing along with some post and progressive rock elements.

Forcefed Horsehead plays a musical style that takes death, black metal, grind, hardcore punk, progressive and post rock and mixes them together to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover violent and angry themes.

In my opinion Forcefed Horsehead are a very great sounding mixture of death, black metal, grind, hardcore punk, progressive and post rock and if you are looking for something very original, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Futile". 8 out of 10.
(PARONOID) are a band from Sweden that has had music reviewed before in this zine and plays a mixture of d beat and crust punk with some black, thrash and speed metal elements and this is a review of their 2018 album "Heavy Mental Fuck Up" which will be released on September 28th by The Sign Records.

A very dark and heavy sound starts off the album before going into a very fast crossover direction while the vocals are done mostly in a shouting style while the music also mixes thrash, d beat and crust punk together along with a great amount of 80's influences but also sounding modern at the same time.
When guitar solos and leads are utilized they bring in more of an 80's era thrash/speed metal style while all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them along with the music also mixing elements of old school black metal into some of the riffing and the music always remains very heavy.

On this recording (PARONOID) remains true to their mixture of d beat and crust punk while also adding in more black, thrash and speed metal influences this time around, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics are written in Japanese and cover angry themes.
A very heavy and brutal grindcore starts off the album while the faster sections of the songs also bringing in a great amount of blast beats along with the vocals also bringing in a mixture of death metal growls and screams as well as the music also mixing in elements of crust.

Throughout the recording you can also hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while most of the tracks a re very short in length along with all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them and the music is very heavily rooted in the 90's as well as the riffs also adding in a small amount of melody at times and the music always remains very heavy.

Mule Skinner plays a style of grindcore that is very heavily rooted in the 90's while also mixing in elements of crust and death metal, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover war and violence themes.

In my opinion Mule Skinner are a very great sounding mixture of crust, grindcore and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Suicide Vest" "Bred To Destroy" "Faith In Blood" and "Fuse". 8 out of 10.

1.For those that have never heard of you before, can you tell us a little bit about the musical project?
1.Hey. Corrodent is a one man grindcore band that started as an idea pretty long ago but recorded his first demo in 2017. The music is fast and is influenced by old school grindcore grindcore bands of the late 80s and early 90s.

2.So far you have released one demo and 2 splits, musically how do all of these releases differ from each other?
2. I think that with every release the music is going in the direction that I really want to go with Corrodent. It is hard for me to tell what are the differences, but I think that the main one is that the songs are much more powerful with every release in my opinion. I think the listener has to decide for himself and hear what are the differences.

3.What are some of the lyrical topics and subjects you explore with your music?
3.The main lyrical topics of Corrodent are animal cruelty, enviromental destruction, social problems and more personal issues. I started writing more against the first 2 topics that I mentioned but I didn't want to limit this project to only 2 subjects so all the the other things that I mention in my lyrics came naturally as well

4.What is the meaning and inspiration behind the name 'Corrodent'?
4.Simply because humans as a whole act in a corrosive way on this planet. Every choice we make as individuals, in the end are being seen on a mass scale. The products that we use, the behaviour in society towards each other, the way we treat nature, all of that is destructive behaviour for sure and we don't realise it. We just take more and more from this planet and we give nothing in return. I think that the name Corrodent, describes perfectly what I want to say in my tracks and I find the word very cool as well.

5.With this recording you record everything by yourself but have played in full line ups before with your previous bands, how would you compare the two?
5.I play and have played in many bands during the last years. I think this is very different from anything else I 've done before. I have played and recorded for many metal and punk bands but on this I had a much different approach. It is also very easy for me to write and release material right now, as I am the only member of the band and I don't have to make any compromises. Of course there is a downside to this, as I believe, that being in a band with different members can help and give another influence and ideas to your riffs and song structures. There is only one more project that I am currently working on with another member that is similar to this, but this is not ready yet

6.According to the metal archives page the band is based in both Greece and Germany but there is only one member, can you tell us a little bit more about it?
6.I was born in Greece where I also grew up and stayed for most of my life. I moved to Germany around 3 years ago. The project started actually in Germany but I feel I have more in common with the Greek DIY scene than with the German at this moment. To make it a bit funny, I am from Poland and not Greek or German, but I haven't lived for a long time in Poland. Maybe in the future, who knows?

7.Can you tell us a little bit more about the bands or musical artists that you have shared splits with so far?
7.The first split that I made was a 4way with Teknokrater,Chikara and Lord Cernunnos. Teknokrater is a Noisecore band from Athens,Greece and Chikara is a d-beat/crust project and their members live in different countries like Sweden,Bosnia,Italy and Slovenia (at the moment). Lord Cernunnos is a noise/experimental project from the USA. This split just came as an idea from Jhonny from Chikara and Skitnaste Netlabel as a 4way because actually they make tons of splits every month and this release is also also release independently on CD-r format and if anyone wants a copy, then he/she should contact the guys from Teknokrater.
The Split with HeDied came as an idea as I had recorded some tracks and I were looking to release them physically and I found Aural Onslaught records that is back in the game since he had a break from releasing stuff. Then Donnie, the owner of this label, said that we could find a band and release a split. So after a short search we found the guys from HeDied. For now it is available only for digital download on Skitnaste netlabel bandcamp but soon it will be out on tape through Aural Onslaught.
Very soon there is another split to be released. It will be a 6way with Extreme Smoke 57,Chikara,Ludilo,DisTrust and Tolerance. Thera is a lot of more stuff to come soon except this one, so keep an eye (ear) on that.

8.On a worldwide level how has the reaction been to your music by fans of grindcore?
8.I don't have any kind of super fanbase but I see that my stuff has been checked by people from different parts of the world and that is a nice feeling. In general,I 've heard some nice opinions about Corrodent's music, so I guess it is ok.

9.Are you currently involved with any other bands or musical projects these days?
9.I play guitar in a Hardcore band called Angrier Than You and a Death Metal band called Daisy Cutter. I also have some other projects with other people that we have recorded most of the stuff but we haven't release it yet and it has been a while. I hope that soon we will finish this stuff. I am talking about a d-beat project/band from Athens and a Grindcore project with one more member not from somewhere else in Europe but I don't want to say too much about this right now because there is still a lot of work to be done.

10.When can we expect a full length and also where do you see yourself heading into as a musician in the future?
10.For now I work for splits.Maybe a full lenght (don't expect anything more than 20 minutes, haha) will come in the future but I don't know exactly when. As for the second part of the question, I have no idea. :)

11.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?
11.If you mean Corrodent, then the stuff that has influenced me the most is early (and not only) Grindcore bands of the late 80s and early 90s, a lot of D-beat/Crust, some Fast Hardcore and I think a good dose of Death Metal. Of course there are other styles of music that had an influence on me but in Corrodent you may not seem so obvious.
I still listen to Grindcore,Punk,Hardcore,Death Metal,Thrash,Crossover and all this stuff but I like also other kinds of music like some simple rock, sometimes some good old school hip hop and even some electronic music like early UK drum n bass from the 90s. I also enjoy ambient and experimental music. I think, I enjoy a lot of kinds of music without even caring about what genre is it. If I like it and see it and see that it has something nice to say, I will listen to it. This question is harder than I thought, because I could go on and on.

12.What are some of your non musical interests?
12.I like philosophical stuff but I wouldnt say that I have the biggest knowledge on the theme. I used to read a lot about ethics of humanity and stuff though and I like to have a cup of coffee or tea and talk with like minded people about those topics. I also try to keep fit a bit so I guess that some kind of interest but nothing super sporty. I would like to start a sport soon though. In reality is that as for my interest, I invest most of my time in music.

13.Before we wrap up this interview, do you have any final words or thoughts?
13.Thanks to DoomToGrindZine for putting this interview up. Stay tuned because a lot of stuff is coming from Corrodent very soon!

Hallux Valgus are a band from Chile that plays a very old school form of death metal with elements of thrash and crust punk and this is a review of their 2018 ep "Death Will Prevail" which was released by Ex Nihilo Music.

Dark yet melodic guitar solos start off the ep while the music is very heavily rooted in the mid 80's to early 90's along with the faster sections of the songs bringing in a great amount of blast beats as well as the vocals being earlier era death metal growls and the music mixes in elements of d beat and thrash.

A decent amount of dark sounding melodies can also be heard in the guitar riffing while the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them and some of the faster sections of the songs also add in traces of mid 80's era grindcore and they close the ep with an instrumental.

Hallux Valgus plays a musical style that is mostly rooted in mid 80's era death metal while the thrash, grindcore and d beat elements makes the music stand out a lot more, the production sounds very old school while the lyrics cover death, necromancy, graves and pestilence themes.

In my opinion Hallux Valgus are a very great sounding old school death metal group with elements of thrash, grindcore and d beat and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Graveyard Ritual" "Under The Ritual Of Necromancy" and "Casket Land". 8 out of 10.

This is a review of a split ep between Greece's Corrodent and U.S.A's He Died which was released by Skitnaste and we will start off the review with Corrodent who continues his mixture of grindcore, d beat and death metal.

His side of the split starts out with a very fast and brutal grindcore sound along with a great amount of blast beats while the vocals are a mixture of death metal growls and screams while all of the tracks are very short in length as well as the songs also adding in a good mixture of mid paced and fast parts and the music also incorporates elements of d beat, the production sounds very old school while the lyrics cover angry and political themes.

In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Corrodent and if you are a fan of grindcore, d beat and death metal, you should check out this side of the split. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Cursed Planet" and "Sweatshops".

Next up is He Died a duo that plays a mixture of crust and grindcore.

Their side of the split starts out with some spoken word samples before going into a very fast and brutal grindcore which also uses a great amount of blast beats while the vocals are a mixture of guttural death and screams while the music also adds in a touch of crust and noisecore as well as the songs also adding in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and all of the tracks are very short in length, the production sounds very raw and heavy while the lyrics cover violent and political themes.

In my opinion He Died are a very great sounding mixture of crust, grind and noisecore and if you are a fan of t hose musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "The Mess is Made" and "Lords of Swarm".

In conclusion I feel this is a very great sounding split and I would recommend it to all fans of crust and grindcore. 8 out of 10.

Their side of the split starts out with spoken word samples before gong into a very fast and brutal grindcore direction along with some growls and high pitched noisecore screams while the music also brings in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts, the production sounds very raw and heavy while the lyrics cover political themes.

Next up is Lord Cernunnos a solo project that plays harsh noise.

His side of the split starts out with harsh noises and power electronics while also capturing some field recordings along with all of the musical being instrumental and the production sounds very dark.

In my opinion Lord Cernunnos is a very great sounding harsh noise project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out his side of the split.

Closing the split is Chikari a band that plays a very raw mixture of crust and hardcore punk.

Their side of the split starts out with slow yet heavy riffing before going into a faster direction which also uses a decent amount of tremolo picking and blast beats while the vocals are mostly angry screams and growls while the music mixes grind, crust and hardcore punk together along with the guitar solos sounding very chaotic and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to t hem, the production sounds very raw and heavy while the lyrics cover political themes.
Burst are a band from New Caledonia that plays a very harsh mixture of crust and grindcore and this is a review of their 2018 album "You Must Die" which will be released in October by Give Praise Records.

Air raid sirens and spoken word and war samples start off the album before going into a very fast and brutal grindcore direction which also uses a great amount of blast beats while the vocals are a mixture of growls and screams as well as the music also mixing in a great amount of crust elements.

Throughout the recording you can also hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while the riffs also bring in a small amount of melody along with a great portion of the tracks being very short in length as well as all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them and at time the vocals bring in guttural growls and pig squeals.

Burst plays a musical style that takes crust and grindcore and mixes them together to create something very harsh and brutal sounding, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover violent, angry and real life themes.

In my opinion Burst are a very great sounding harsh mixture of crust and grindcore and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Working To Death" "Fuck Yourself" "GHB" and "You Must Die". 8 out of 10.
