Bingo are a band from Sweden that plays a very brutal form of powerviolence, crust/grind and this is a review of their 2012 album "Ett grindslagsmal i 2 delar" which was released by Discouraged Records.
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a great amount of brutal sounding blast beats being thrown into the music, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars and at times they have a very powerful sound to them.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast riffs that are very raw and primitive sounding combining power violence, crust and grindcore together to create a sound of their own while the lead guitars when they are utilized are very old school style punk rock guitar solos and leads
Vocals range from violent female screams, punk style singing, hardcore style shouting, spoken word parts and deep death metal growls, while the lyrics are written in Swedish and cover political and everyday themes, as for the production it has a very heavy, brutal, raw and primitive sound to it.
In my opinion Bingo are a very great sounding hybrid of power violence, crust and grindcore and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Nicolagarden" "Jag Klarar Mig Bra Utan B12" "GronenVagen Ar Forbi" and "Grind Mot Reindfelt". RECOMMENDED BUY.
