Envinya are a band from Germany that plays a mixture of goth, doom, death, melodic and prog metal and this is a review of their 2013 album "Inner Silence" which was released by Massacre Records.
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with some blast beats being utilized at times, while the synths bring a very atmospheric, progressive and gothic sound to the music, as for the bass playing it has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that are coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast riffs that combine gothic, doom, death, metal and progressive metal together to create a sound of their own as well as a brief use of clean playing, while the lead guitars are very melodic sounding heavy metal guitar solos and leads.
Vocals are mostly clean singing female vocals with some deep death metal growls being utilized at times, while the lyrics cover dark themes,, as for the production it has a very strong, powerful, heavy and professional sound to it.
In my opinion Envinya are a very great sounding hybrid of gothic, doom, death, melodic and progressive metal and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Faceless" "Inner Silence" "Satin Ans Silk" and "Beyond The Dark". RECOMMENDED BUY.
