This is another review of an album from Fascists To Ashes which continues their hybrid of comedy, power violence and grindcore and this is a review of their self released 2011 album "15 Things You Didn't Know About Kangaroos".
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with some blast beats being utilized at times, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that are coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast heavy, raw and primitive riffs that combine power violence and grindcore together to create a sound of their own with some melody being thrown into the riffing at times and there are no guitar solos or leads present on this recording, a s for the acoustic guitars when they are utilized they use full chords to enhance the comedy elements of the music.
Vocals range from high pitched grindcore screams, punk style yells, humorous clean singing, and some spoken word parts and samples in addition there is a brief use of pig squeels being utilized on t he last song, while the lyrics cover humorous and comedy themes, as for the production it has a very raw and primitive sound to it.
In my opinion this is another great sounding album from Fascists To Ashes and if you are a fan of humorous power violence/grindcore, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Theodocy Of Hypocricy" "Sydney Opera House" "Catz" and "Bummin". RECOMMENDED BUY.
