Exegutor are a band from Belarus that has been featured before in this zine and plays a mixture of brutal death metal, grindcore and crust and this is a review of their 2012 ep "Dive Sessions" which was released by Satanath Records.
A very distorted sound starts off the ep before going into an old school crust/grind direction along with some growling vocals and when music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard along with some elements of brutal death metal and high pitched screams as well as a small amount of melody.
Most of the songs are very short in length with the longest song being over 2 minutes and one track brings in a brief use of tribal beats and clean playing and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording while the vocals also add in a touch of hardcore and no solos or leads are ever utilized.
Exegutor played a very raw and brutal style of grindcore on this recording that was very true to the old school tradition while also mixed in elements of crust and brutal death metal, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover hateful themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Exegutor and if you are a fan of crust and grindcore, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Coffin Break" "Song About Nothing" and "Subway Rats". 8 out of 10.
