Henry Kane are a band from Sweden t hat plays a mixture of old school Swedish style death metal and crustcore and this is a review of their album "Den Forstorda Manniskans" which will be released in 2017 by Transcending Obscurity Records.
Growing vocals and heavy yet melodic riffing starts off the album and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard and the music is very heavily rooted in the 90's style of Swedish death metal and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording.
Throughout the recording you can hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and the solos and leads are also done in a very melodic fashion and most of the tracks are very short in length and also mixes in elements of crust and d beat while also having some of the raw aggression of grindcore and high pitched screams can also be heard at times and one track brings in a brief use of classical guitars before returning back to a heavier direction.
Henry Kane plays a musical style that takes old school Swedish death metal and mixes it with crust to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics are written in Swedish and cover post apocalyptic themes.
In my opinion Henry Kane are a very great sounding mixture of death metal and crust and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Svarta Tankar" "Dragen I Skiten" "Bon For Bon" and "Vinst Eller Folust". 8 out of 10.
