  Cranula  are  a  band  from  Brazil  that  plays  a  very  experimental  form  of  grindcore  and  crust  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  self  released  2013  demo  "Paralaxe".

  Drums  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  drumming  with  some  blast  beats  being  thrown  into  the  music  at  times,  while  the  bass  playing  has  a  very  dark  tone  with  riffs  that  follow  the  riffing  that  are  coming  out  of  the  guitars.

  Rhythm  guitars  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  riffs  that  combine  crustcore  and  grind  together  to  create  a  sound  of  their  own  with  some  experimental  elements  being  thrown  into  the  riffing  at  times  and  there  are  no  guitar  solos  or  leads  present  on  this  recording.

  Vocals  range  from  deep  death  metal/crust  growls  to  high  pitched  black  metal  screams,  while  the  lyrics  are  written  in  Porteguese  and  civil  dark  and  hateful  themes,  as  for  the  production  it  has  a  very  strong,  powerful,  and  heavy  sound  for  being  a  self  released  recording.

  In  my  opinion  Cranula  are  a  very  great  sounding  hybrid  of  experimental,  grindcore  and  crust  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out t his  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Sepultado_Vivo"  and  "Socialfobia".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.

  Flesh  Police  are  a  band  from  Australia  that  plays  a  mixture  of  grindcore  and  power  violence  and this  is  a  review  of  their  self  released  2013  demo.

  Drums  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  drumming  with  a  great  amount  of  brutal  sounding  blast  beats  being  thrown  into t he  music,  while  the  bass  playing  has  a  very  dark  tone  with  riffs  that  follow  the  riffing  that  are  coming  out  of  the  guitars  and  at  times  they h ave  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them.

  Rhythm  guitars  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  heavy,  raw  and  primitive  sounding  riffs  that  combine  power  violence  and  grindcore  together  to  create  a  sound  of t heir  own  and  there  are  no  guitar  solos  or  leads  present  on  this  recording.

  Circle  Takes  The  Square  are  a  band  from  Georgia  that  plays  a  mixture  of  screamo,  experimental,  punk  and  grindcore  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2012  album  "Decompostions: Volume  One"  which  was  released  by  Gatepost  Records.

  Drums  range  from  slow  to mid  paced to  fast  drumming  with  some  blast  beats  being  present  on this  recording,  while  the  keyboards  bring  a  very  experimental  sound  to  the  recording,  as  for  the  bass  playing  it  has  a  very  and  powerful  sound  with  heavy  riffing  that  dominates  throughout  the  recording.

  Rhythm  guitars  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  riffs  that  combine  screamo,  grind,  punk  and  experimental  together  to  create  a  sound  of  their  own  with  some  soft  and  clean  playing,  as  for  the  lead  guitars  they  are  very  melodic  sounding  guitar  solos  and  leads,  as  for  the  acoustic  they  use  finger  picking  and  full  chords  to  add  more  experimental  elements  to  the  music  as  well  as  some  guitar  slides.

  Vocals  range  from deep  grindcore  growls,  screamo  style  shouts,  punk  rock  vocals,  clean  singing  and  spoken  word  parts,  while  the lyrics  cover  everyday  and  philosophical  themes,  as  for  the  production  it  has  a  very  strong,  powerful,  heavy  and  professional  sound  where  you  can  hear  all  of  the  musical  instruments  that  are  present  on  this  recording  with  some  of  the  songs  being  long  and  epic  in  length.
