Agoraphobic Nosebleed are a band from Boston, Massachusetts that has been around for a long time and plays a noise/grindcore and this is a review of their 2011 ep "A Joyful Noise" which was released by Handshake Inc. .
The ep starts off with some fast grindcore and noisy distortion along with a mixture of crustcore style shouting and high pitched noisecore screams and the music sticks to a fast direction for the most along with some brutal sounding blast beats as well as all of the songs being short in length while also mixing in some slow and heavy parts at times and you can also hear elements of harsh noise being utilized on this recording as well as some samples.
Song lyrics cover the violent and hateful side of Xmas, while the production has a very heavy, raw, brutal and harsh sound along with all of the songs being very short in length.
In my opinion this is another great sounding from Agoraphobic Nosebleed and if you are a fan of this band, you should enjoy this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Santa's Got A Brand New Bag" "No Presents This Year" "Ghost of Christmas Past" and "Little Town Of Bethlehem". RECOMMENDED BUY.
