This is the final review of a recording from Idylls which continues their mixture of grind, post hardcore, punk and progressive music with the ep being self released in 2013 and called "Indian Circle".
The ep starts off with some heavy guitar and bass riffs along with some drums and then the music starts adding in high pitched screams and post hardcore elements while also combining them with progressive music and grindcore and the music also incorporates a lot of brutal sounding blast beats.
As the ep moves on the music starts getting more diverse while also mixing in a great amount of fast and brutal parts and the continues the tradition of mixing many different musical genres to create a sound only they can call their own and the also mix in some death metal growls, guitar leads, and melodic vocals on certain songs.
Song lyrics cover dark, hateful and everyday themes, while the production has a very strong, powerful, heavy and professional sound for being a self released recording where you can hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this ep.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Idylls and if you are looking for something that is heavy and original sounding, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Concord Poison" and "Beyond the Grave". RECOMMENDED BUY.
