This is a review of another recording from Veuve S.S which continues their mixture of punk, hardcore, grind and crust with the ep being released by Vendridi Recordings in 2012 and called "Visceres".
The ep starts out with a raw old school hardcore sound before adding in growls and traces of crustcore along with some noise rock style distortion and after awhile the music gets a little bit more faster with blast beats and black metal elements.
As the ep progresses the bass guitars get more powerful in sound and they also bring in a mixture of slow and fast parts and on one of the tracks the band goes into a more mid paced direction and at time s you can also hear some melody in the music and on the last track t hey bring in horror movie samples.
On this recording Veuve S.S speed up things a bit as well as getting a little bit heavier time time around along with a small amount of black metal elements while also remaining true to their hardcore punk sound.
Song lyrics cover everyday themes, while the production has a very heavy, raw and primitive sound while you can still hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Veuve S.S and if you are a fan of hardcore punk, crust and grind, you should check out this e.p. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Cathedrales" and "Crevard". 8 out of 10.
