P.L.F are a band from Texas that plays a fast and brutal mixture of crust, thrash and grindcore and this is a review of their 2014 album "Ultimate Whirlwind Of Incineration" which was released by Blastasfuk.
A very fast and brutal sound starts off the album along with some blast beats and deep growling vocals and you can hear a great amount of thrash style riffing in the bands musical sound along with some high pitched grindcore and the music also uses a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts.
Most of the music on the album sticks to a more mid 80's or early 90's style of thrash grind ignoring all of the modern trends of the past 20 years to create some very fast, heavy and brutal music and they also stay away from anything melodic and after awhile they add in a small amount of guitar solos or leads into their musical sound an d towards the end of the album they do a cover of Assuck's "Page By Page".
P.L.F keep it fast and brutal with their mixture of thrash, grind and crust and the music is heavy from beginning to end with the average length of a song being 1 or 2 minutes, long, the productions sounds very heavy and old school while the lyrics cover death, corruption and personal struggles.
In my opinion P.L.F are a very great sounding fast and brutal mixture of thrash, crust and grindcore and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Rejection Of Pathos" "Crematory Desolation" "Discarded Death Memory" and "Page by Page". 8 out of 10.
