This is a review of another recording from Henry Fonda which continues their mixture of power violence, grind, crust and punk with the 12 inch being self released in 2013 and called "Deutschland, du Tater!".
A distorted amp sound starts off the album along with some angry shouts and screams which leads to a fast crust/grind direction along with some brutal sounding blast beats and they also bring in a mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts as well as mixing elements of hardcore into t heir musical sound.
Spoken word parts can be heard in certain sections of the recording and most of the songs are under a minute and on of the later t racks sees the band add in a brief guitar solo and blues rock elements before returning back to a brutal sound and the music well go from slow hardcore style breakdowns to an all out brutal grindcore assault on most of the tracks and they also throw in a few death metal growls at times and on of the later tracks shows the band going into a more melodic direction.
Henry Fonda continues their mixture of grindcore, crust and power violence from the previous recording while also showing a small amount of growth of musicians this time around, the production sound s very raw and heavy while the lyrics are written in a mixture of German and English and cove r politics and personal issues.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Henry Fonda and if you are a fan of grindcore, crust and power violence, you should check out this 12 inch. RECOMMENDED TRACKS "They Know" "Clone" "Good Night Slim Pride" and "Not Your Motor". 8 out of 10.
