Suffering Quota are a band from the Netherlands that plays a mixture of death metal, grind, hardcore and d beat and this is a review of their self title d 2014 album which was released by Reflections Records.
Dark sound effects and spoken word samples start off the album before going into a brutal grindcore direction along with blast beats and growling vocals and after awhile the music slows down a bit and adds in some melody, hardcore and d beat elements along with some high pitched screams.
All of the musical instruments on the recording h ave a very powerful sound to them and you can hear a good amount of death metal being mixed in with the brutal grindcore elements and the band avoids using any solos and leads to focus on making an album that is very raw, heavy and brutal sounding. and the spoken word samples also make a return in certain sections of the recording.
Suffering Quota takes the heaviest elements of death metal, grind hardcore and power violence to create an album that is very raw, brutal and aggressive sounding from beginning to end, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark and violent themes.
In my opinion Suffering Quota are a very great sounding mixture of death metal, grind, hardcore and power violence and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Pariah" "Worn Out" "Pigs on Fire" and "Conflict". 8 out of 10.
