Fucking Invincible are a band from Rhode Island that has been featured before in this zine and plays a mixture of crust, grind and power violence and this is a review of their 2015 album "I Hate Myself And Want You To Die" which will be released in December by Atomic Action! Records.
A very heavy sound starts of the album along with a brief use of spoken word samples before adding in screaming vocals and when the music speeds up it brings in a fast grindcore style that also utilizes a great amount of blast beats and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them.
Element s of crust, power violence and hardcore can be heard quite a bit throughout the recording along with the songs also bringing in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and most of the tracks are very short in length and all of the tracks avoid any use of guitar solos or leads while the whole album also remains very heavy from beginning to ending of the recording.
Fucking Invincible creates another recording that combines hardcore, crust, grind and power violence to create some very raw and heavy brutality, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover violent and angry themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Fucking Invincible and if you are a fan of this band, you should enjoy this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Cross-Uncross" "Ditched" "Like A Child" and "Get It Wrong". 8 out of 10.
