Exhumedare a band from California that has one of their previous albums reviewed before in this zine that mixes noisecore, grindcore, death metal and thrash together to create their 0wn brand of gore metal and this is a review of their 2011 album "All Guts No Glory" which was released by Relapse Records.
Drums range from slow, midpaced to fast drumming with alot of brutal sounding blast beats being thrown in, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, midpaced to fast riffing that combines the most brutal elements of noisecore, grindcore, death metal and thrash together and I c an tell after all of these years they have progressed alot as musicians, while the lead guitars are very chaotic sounding extreme metal guitar solos and leads that also utilize some melodies on ocassion.
Vocals range from deep death metal growls to high pitched grindcopre screams that also have a touch of a thrash influence to them, while the lyrics cover gory, death and hateful themes, as for the production it has a very dark, heavy and professional sound to it.
In my opinion this is another great album from Exhumed and if you where a fan of their previous releases you will not be dissapointed. RECEMMONDED TRACKS INCLUDE "AS Hammer To Anvil" "Death Knell" "Necrotized" and "So Let It Be Rotten". RECEMMONDED BUY.
