This is a review of a split album between March Of The Hordes and Escape The Flesh both from the Chezch Republic that was realesed by Lavadome Productions which was released in 2011 and we will start of the review with March of The Hordes that plays a very brutal form of death metal mixed with crustcore.
Drums range from mid paced to fast drumming with a good amount of blast beats being thrown into the music, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from mid paced to fast riffs that combine brutal death metal with crustcore while the lead guitars are very old school sounding death metal guitar solos or leads.
Vocals are all high pitched death metal screams and growls, while the lyrics cover dark themes, as for the production it has a very heavy and dark sound to it.
In my opinion March of The Hordes are a very great brutal sounding death metal/crustcore hybrid and if you are a fan of this style, you should check out this band, RECOMMENDED TRACK "Last Stand Of Heaven". RECOMMENDED.
Next up is Escape The Flesh a band that plays a very brutal form of doom/death metal.
Drums range from slow to mid paced to fast drumming with some blast beats, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars.
