Lardon are a band from France that plays a mixture of noisecore, crust and porno grind and this is a review of their self released 2013 album "Noise Penetration".
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a great amount of brutal sounding blast beats being thrown into the music, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that are coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast heavy and brutal riffs that combine noisecore, crust and grind together to create a sound of their own, while the lead guitars when they are utilized are very raw and primitive sounding noise/grindcore guitar solos and leads.
Vocals range from deep guttural death/grind growls and high pitched noisecore screams along with a great amount of spoken word samples, while the lyrics cover gross, disgusting, gore and porno themes with the songs being written in a mixture of French and English, as for the production it has a very heavy, brutal, raw and primitive sound to it.
In my opinion Lardon are a very great sounding hybrid of noisecore, crust and porno grind and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Blast Noise Shit" "Noise Apocalypse" "Anal Connexion" and "Blast Noise". RECOMMENDED BUY.
