Certo Porcos are a band from Brazil that plays a mixture of extreme metal, hardcore punk and crust and this is a review of their 2015 album "Odio 666" which will be rleeased in October by Greyhaze Records.
Dog barking starts off the album before going into more of a heavier crustcore direction along with some growling vocals and a few seconds later high pitched screams are also added in and they also give the music a touch of black metal and some of the riffs also bring in a small amount of melody.
Angry hardcore style shouting can be heard at times and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and the bands musical style is very heavily rooted in the 80's styles of extreme metal and punk and when solos and leads are utilized briefly they remain true to an old school style of hardcore punk and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts.
Certos Porcos plays a musical style that takes crust and hardcore punk and also mixes in elements of death metal to create a very heavy sounding recording, the production sounds very old school while the lyrics cover political themes.
In my opinion Certos Porcos are a very great sounding mixture of extreme metal, crust and hardcore punk and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Hate Never Ends" "Secret Society" "Failure" and "Auschwitz". 8 out of 10.
