Terrorazor are a band from Germany that plays grindcore with some elements of crust and death metal and this is a review of their 2016 album "Abysmal Hymns Of Disgust" which was released by Selfmadegod Records.
A very distorted sound starts off the album before going into a heavier direction along with all of the musical instruments sounding very powerful and after awhile death metal growls are added onto the recording and when the music speeds up it goes into more of a grindcore direction along with a great amount of blast beats.
Throughout the recording there is a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while a great majority of the tracks are very short in length and you can also hear some crust elments in the tracks and as the album progresses high pitched screams can be heard in certain sections of the recording and when guitar solos and leads are used briefly they give the music more of a melodic and old school feeling.
Terrorazor plays a musical style that is very heavily rooted in the old school style of grindcore while also mixing in elements of crust and death metal to create their own sound, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark and violent themes.
In my opinion Terrorazor are a very great sounding grindcore band with elements of crust, thrash and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Black Ash" "Inhale Death" "Orgy Of Luxuria" and "Nuclear Enlightenment". 8 out of 10.
