This is a review of another recording from The Occult which shows the music going into more of a mixture of death metal and crust and the ep was released in 2014 and called "III".
Distorted amp noises start off the ep before adding death metal growls onto the recording while the solos and leads also add in elements of death'n'roll along with all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them as well as the faster sections of the songs also a great amount of blast beats.
Elements of d beat and crust can also be heard quite a bit throughout the recording while the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with the music also having a great amount of 90's influences as well as the riffs also adding in some melodies at times.
On this recording The Occult move way from hardcore and go into more of a mixture of death metal and crust, the production sounds very professional for being a self released recording while the lyrics cover human unrest themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from The Occult and if you are a fan of death metal and crust, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACK "All Pigs Must Die". 8 out of 10.
