Raven's Creed are a band from the United Kingdom that plays a mixture of death, thrash metal and crust and this is a review of their 2018 album "Get Killed Or Die Trying" which will be released in August by Xtreem Music.
Nature sounds start off the album along with some heavy and melodic riffing a few seconds later while the music also brings in a great amount of thrash metal elements along with the faster sections of the songs utilizing a lot of blast beats as well as the vocals being mid 80's death metal style growls.
A lot of crust elements can be heard quite a bit throughout the recording while the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with most of the tracks being very short in length and while the music is mostly rooted in the mid 80's to early 90's it still sounds very modern at the same time and as the album progresses shouting style vocals can also be heard briefly.
Raven's Creed plays a musical style that takes death, thrash metal and crust and mixes them together to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover violent themes.
In my opinion Raven's Creed are a very great sounding mixture of death, thrash metal and crust and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Dead Bird On Winchester Street" "Off With Their legs" "Rats Beneath Our Feet" and "The Trauma Of Being Hunted". 8 out of 10.
